Destruction in Wreck It Ralph
FX supervisor Cesar Velazquez and software engineer Lawrence Chai implemented a stand-alone bullet solver for destruction task of Wreck-it-Ralph. Since we didn't have the convex-hull representation in bullet solver at that time, I made tools to generate the clusters of proxy spheres or boxes.
I designed an algorithm and developed a tool which packs geometry with spheres. Later, houdini added a tool, which does the same function. It is VDB to Spheres.
